ROSEVILLE FARMS IS A FAMILY-OWNED FLORIDA FARM ROOTED IN SUSTAINABILITY, THE HIGHEST GROWING STANDARDS, AND EXCELLENCE.

Our Story

Founded in 1996 by David Raab, Roseville Farms quickly became one of North America's largest Clematis producers. Roseville Farms has provided more than 75 percent of the Clematis sold in the U.S. for more than 20 years, and consistently ranks as one of the top 100 growers in the country.

A perennial vine and garden-favorite, Clematis is one of the most difficult ornamental plants to propagate. Roseville Farms adopted a highly scientific approach when cultivating the plant, relying on extensive research and methodical precision to develop the perfect growing procedure.

With this commitment to the highest level of science-informed growing standards at the core of Roseville Farms’ DNA, it only made sense to adopt another plant requiring such pristine care levels: hemp. And with that, RVF Hemp was born.

We Believe That Great Hemp Begins With Great Genetics

RVF Hemp believes that great hemp begins with great genetics, and as such, partners with the University of Florida and IFAS to thoroughly research, test, and approve hemp varieties. Through this partnership, the Florida Hemp Pilot Program, combined with our own in-house research, we’ve certified more than 30 varieties for propagation. Each hemp variety then undergoes 2+ years of rigorous testing before it ever hits the market, ensuring the highest quality, freshness, and consistency amongst every batch.

Our process

At RVF Hemp, high-quality hemp is synonymous with great genetics. Before ever creating a single product, we spent more than 2 years working with the University of Florida and the Institute for Food and Agricultural Science to identify the elites of hemp. Only 9 varieties made the cut, and those are exactly the ones you’ll find at RVF Hemp. 

From the mother plants, we begin large-scale production in which thousands of clones are rooted and grown out to flower. Once harvested, the crop is hung to cold-dry in our custom 2500 square-foot drying building, equipped with full environmental control so that each one is cured to perfection. This process takes a minimum of four weeks. Roseville Farms has provided more than 75 percent of the Clematis sold in the U.S. for more than 20 years, and consistently ranks as one of the top 100 growers in the country.
